Tree Lighting is our biggest event of the year so we wanted to be sure that your have all the answers you might need to any questions leading up to the event.

When is Crocker Park Tree Lighting?

Crocker Park Tree Lighting takes place on Saturday, November 19th.

What Time Does Tree Lighting Start? Where can I find a schedule of the day’s activities?

The schedule of events for the day is:

 

12PM – Crocker Park Holiday Experiences Open
• Cleveland Monsters Ice Skating Rink
• SHOP LOCAL at Santa’s Village & Holiday Market
• Lake Ridge Academy Santa’s Sleigh
• Crocker Park Marquee presented by Budget Heating & Air Conditioning
• Snowflake Garden presented by Devon Oaks Assisted Living

 

12-4 PM – Live performers will take to the East Park Stage
• 12-2PM – Hip to That performs a mix of rock, pop, and holiday favorites
• 3-4PM – The Dance Step

 

4-7PM – Live performances on the Main Stage
• 4:00PM – The Workshop Dance + Fitness
• 5:30PM – Hayden Grove
• 6:30PM – Jen Toohey from Star 102 & Joe Toohey from Fox 8
• 6:40PM – Spectacular Party Entertainment Carolers Perform

 

7 PM – Grinchmas Party with Santa & Holiday Character Performance

 

8PM – Santa Lights the 50ft Dancing Tree

 

8-9PM – Holiday Character Meet & Greets

 

8-10PM – Photos with Santa in Santa’s Village & Holiday Market

What Holiday Characters will be performing?

Buddy the Elf & Jovie from Elf
Anna, Elsa, Kristoff & Hans from Frozen
The Grinch, Cindy Lou-Who, The Mayor of Whoville & Martha May-Who
Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus

Where is the best place to park?

There are a limited number of metered spots available during Tree Lighting, your best bet is to arrive early and park in one of our 7 free parking garages. They are located throughout property. Don’t forget the American Greetings Garage & Parking lot which are located on the southern end of property but has a ton of parking available.

 

The Detroit Road Garage will have a special event rate of $10 attached to it for the evening of the event, you will pay upon entry and then have easy exit access at the end of the night.

 

As garages fill up, Crocker Park Security will close them down and route the public to the open and available garages. We also encourage people to carpool and rideshare to help reduce traffic on property.

Can I get a photo with the characters?

Yes – immediately after the Tree Lighting, characters will be available for meet & greets and photos.
• The Frozen cast will be located near the Snowflake Garden in West Park until 9:00PM
• The Grinch cast will be located on the Grinch’s stage in East Park until 9:00PM
• Buddy the Elf & Jovie will be inside Santa’s Village near Santa’s Sleigh until 9:00PM
• Santa & Mrs. Claus will open their lines for photos inside Santa’s Village & Holiday Market until 10:00PM

What food trucks will be attending?

Food Trucks will be serving food from 5-8PM located on Main Street just south of the Christmas Tree.
